True Homemade Italian Pizza

Perolio is my Italian bloodline and I am very proud of it and I cook homemade Italian foods to honor my Wankie. I feel more connected to her and the rest of the Italian bloodline when I cook true Italian food.
Tonight I am cooking a true Italian homemade pizza.

True Homemade Italian Ingredients:

  • 600 mL of warm water

  • 7 cups (1kg) flour, type “00”*

  • 2.5 – 3 tablespoons (25 grams) of fresh yeast (Active Dry Yeast, Hodgson Mill).

  • 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

  • 2.5 teaspoons of Kosher salt.

  • 2 teaspoons of sugar.

  • Two Old Style Pizza Sauce (Del Grosso).

  • 4 Cheese Italian (One bag).

    Preheat Oven: 400°F​

  • ​Butter up the pan.

  • Bake for 10 minutes with a thin layer of dough and your pizza sauce. After the 10 minutes of baking add your cheese and your toppings of desire and bake again for 20 minutes. Can make up to a large pizza or 2-3 mini pizzas.

    Goes great with Italian red wine, Riunute Lambrusco Red Wine.
