Packing Day!
London Bound: The Beginning of packing!
Wow! Only 17 days left before departure to London! It’s so close and there’s still so much to do and take care of before I leave for the most amazing educational experience of my entire life. I have been getting rid of a bunch of clutter here at the house and doing some major deep cleaning so it will be perfect when I get back. I enjoy doing deep cleans before leaving the house for a long period of time. It’s refreshing honestly. Anyways, I started packing today so I can figure out the smaller details of packing when the night before leaving comes around. I like to stay ahead when it comes to packing so I won’t have to stress about it when time gets closer. We finally got the information on the apartment we will be living in for a month and it’s honestly so cute and so close to the major city so we could walk if we wanted to. Which is great because you can save a lot more money when it comes to traveling. We do have traveling passes for the underground bullet that is included in our pricing packet so yay for that as well. Traveling expenses are pretty much covered, even when we arrive to the airport we can take the underground bullet. The prices there are not as bad here so I am definitely not worried even if I have to pay to travel at some point. I’m excited that traveling will not be a hassle for us. I plan to travel lightly anyways so I can come back with some goodies. We are provided with free services for washing and drying our clothes which is great! I plan on packing two nice pants, a couple of cute tops, two pairs of pajamas, two pairs of shorts, and maybe 2-3 dresses. Thankfully, LAbCorp provided me a nice little tote bag that will be used in London because it is a crossover bag and it looks more like a little work bag tote so I feel confident in it for traveling.
Anyways, here’s to 17 days left to go before leaving! WOOHOO!!!
